Text Stry Terrarie/Kanarie	OBS P1 Radioessä Sveriges Radio av Tor Billgren Konstkritiker, Frilansjournalist Bo Cavefors är en av Sveriges mest kontroversiella och mytomspunna förläggare. 1959-1982 drev han sitt förlag från Malmö och Lund och gav ut över 600 titlar. Tor Billgren reflekterar i dagens essä över denna bokutgivning utifrån en avhandling om förlaget, men också Cavefors samarbeten med olika konstnärer.
För fyra år sedan visade Moderna Museet i Malmö konstnären Lena Mattssons videotriptyk I betraktarens öga. På vernissagen var verkets huvudrollsinnehavare Bo Cavefors på plats och publikintresset var överväldigande. Ursprungligen gjordes verket till en utställning i Borås med rockmusik som tema. Men Cavefors är ingen rockstjärna. Däremot är han känd som en legendarisk förläggare i en kulturradikal anda med samma rebelliska attiyd som rockens pionjärer och något av samma mytologiska status.
